13 years old Imad Ali won World Scrabble championship becoming youngest world scrabble champion. World Scrabble Championship was held in England Town Torquay on 19 Nov 2019. Pakistani Student Imad Ali who is 13 years old won World Scrabble Championship. He won 17 matches of the total 20 matches maintaining the first position in all three days. he won five out of six titles of World Scrabble Championship.
"I worked very hard for this title and winning gold for Pakistan is an honour for me."
The championship saw Green influence in all age categories, with all Pakistani players winning their respective categories.Pakistan also won the first position in four other age groups. Taha Mirza won the title in the under-18 category, while Saim Waqar achieved the top spot in the under-14 category. In the under-12 and under-10 categories, Moonis Khan and Misbah-ur-Rehman took home the winning titles respectively.
