Akon in Makkah performed Umrah. MashaAllah!

Akon is an American singer, songwriter, rapper, entrepreneur, philanthropist. He is famous for his songs in the english language. Recently a pic of Akon went Viral on Social Media, in which he is standing in front of the Kaaba in Makkah wearing Ihram (white shawl).

After seeing photo most of people understood that Akon is converted to islam recently, which is actually wrong understanding.

Meanwhile, he was performing Umrah at Makkah, many Muslims does not even know that AKON is a Muslim by Birth, people were getting crazy after watching his video making Tawaaf / or Walking around Kaaba because most of the  Muslims even does not know that Akon was born to a Muslim family in St Louis on April 16, 1973.

In an interview Akon considered islam as purpose of his success  "Islam is the key to my success"

or in other words "His Muslim faith is key to Success"

Akon is also famous for his philonthropy. He said that now Allah Almighty has blessed him with some good wealth, so he  want to spend it on the poor so that can enter Paradise on the day of judgement.

Despite the millions of albums sold and the Grammy Awards on his shelf, Akon says that his life away from the music industry provides him with the most satisfaction.

May Almighty accept his Pilgrimage and allow us to visit Makkah and to see KAABA one day with our own eyes.
