According to the report of the World Economic Forum, India and Pakistan both have the same number of Cities in the top 5 polluted countries.
Ghaziabad of India holds the first position in the list, while Delhi holds 5th position.
Gujranwala and Faislabad of Pakistan hold 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

- Gujranwala, Pakistan
- Faislabad, Pakistan
- Delhi, India
Faisalabad is known as Manchester of Pakistan. It is the third most populous city of Pakistan. It is the industrial hub of Pakistan. The rapid influx of industries combined with their hazardous emissions may be the reason that the city is included in most polluted cities.
Gujranwala is famous for wrestling and Food. Plenty of food consumption could be the reason for Pollution in this city.
The situation of Pakistan is better than India in the top 10 most polluted cities. According to the report, 6 cities of the top 10 most polluted cities are in India. While 3 cities of Pakistan are included in the top 10.
Surprisingly the two most populated cities of Pakistan, Lahore, and Karachi are not included in the top 10 most polluted cities.
