
An article was published by New York times, which claims that the Russian assassination unit secretly supported the Afghan Taliban in Afghanistan with bounties to kill US troops. The aim of Russia is to stop the peace talks between the United States and the Taliban.
The article further mentioned that Trump and the White House security officials were made aware of this in a briefing in late March 2020. White House made a complaint to Moscow and a demand that it stop. Knowing the severity of the issue, Trump did not take any action against Russia. Rather, he is helping Russia to rejoin the G7.

Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman of Taliban rejected all accusations of taking money from Russia to kill US soldiers. He called this report fake and an attempt to defame them.
Russia Response:
Russia denies all the allegations that it supported militants in Afghanistan for killing American. Russia denied by calling it an attempt to invent new fake stories.

Biden response:
Biden accuses trump of betrayal as he did nothing when he came to about the killing of his country's soldier in the hand of Russia. This is beyond the pale. It is a betrayal of the holiest duty we bear as a nation: Biden said.
Republican Response:
Even though the democrats are strongly criticizing the Trump administraion for not responding on the Russia intrusion in Afghanistan, Republicans including the trump are silent on this matter.
Spokespeople at the National Security Council, the Pentagon, the State Department and the C.I.A. declined to comment.
