Why do we still need to be in isolation?
How much more Du’aa are we to make till life comes back to normal?
During times of spiritual vulnerability like today, it’s time to put to test your belief in Allah, realising that He sends calamities at specific dates and times based upon perfect wisdom, and gives permission for their departure at specific dates and times based upon it as well. This cannot be advanced or delayed by even a millisecond, as - in Allah’s perfect plan - every millisecond has a purpose.
Allow me to elaborate;
The Prophet Mohammad PBUH and his companions suffered an embargo that lasted a crippling three years. During this period, was the Prophet Mohammad PBUH not making Du’aa and imploring Allah for relief? Of course he was. So why would Allah allow three long years to pass before granting him relief? Because Allah wanted that relief to arrive at a specific date, which would coincide with specific goodness which Allah intended for His messenger at that date. Had the embargo been lifted a day earlier or a day later, the outcome would simply not have been the same.
Another example;
Prophet Yusuf PBUH would spend several years in prison. During this period, was he not making Du’aa and imploring Allah for relief? Of course he was. So why would Allah allow years to pass before his release? Same as the above; Allah wanted to release him at a specific date, and that specific date coincided with goodness which Allah intended for Yusuf. Had he been released earlier, the king of Egypt would have still been at the peak of his reign which could have caused further harm for Yusuf. However, Allah decreed that his date of release would coincide with a time of extreme poverty and hunger, paving the way for the reign of Yusuf where he’d walk out of prison and, at once, ascend the throne.
Man is hasty.
He implores Allah with passionate Du’aa, demanding immediate relief from whatever he’s going through, thinking that Allah had not accepted His Du’aa, hence when he experiences a delay, he is quick to assume the worst of Allah.
Your trial was sent upon you at a precise date, hour, minute and second, and He shall remove it from you at a precise date, hour, minute and second. Had Allah given you what you demand, your matters would only worsen, and that’s why when relief eventually arrives, as it always does, you will raise your hands in humility to Allah, saying:
“Thank you for not removing my grief a second earlier!”
Pandemic or otherwise, place your matters in Allah’s Hands. Believe in His wisdom and question your own. Think well of Him and realise that He knows whilst you do not.
What an amazing mind-set, and what a comforting reality.
